    • Good little city car

I bought this vehicle used and have owned it 8 months. Its been a great compact city car. I drive it about 10 miles a day on city roads. It rides smooth over bumps and gets decent gas milage 30MPG combined. It fits a fullsized car seat in the back seat easily. I am 6'2 and feel like I have alot of room in the driver seat. Tons of head room. I would suggest this to anyone looking for a small suv!

This is our second Taos. The first one was a stripped-down basic model "complete with nothing" as they say, that was the only one available during the Covid panic. It needed $800 worth of brake work as the pads had worn down and damaged the rotors at 29K miles. I only say this since our current Taos will be in need of brake pads soon at 20k miles. VW extended the warranty on these to 24K or 2 years. So these will be covered. This is way too soon for brake pads, but as it is the only issue with our Taos I still give it a 4 rating since it is fun to drive, very safe, and has lots of back leg room and storage for a compact SUV. Don't know why it gets a low rating. from most reviewers. We love it.
